Halloween Night

Halloween Night
by
Wanda organist 2002

Children noisy in the night-
From noises that provide them a fright.
Others, chanting, "Trick-or-Treat-"
While travel up and downbound the streets.

Costumes of every kind-
Up and downbound the streets in lines.
Going from entranceway to door-
In hopes of candy galore.

They've become temporary for chocolates and sweets-
Begging for something good to eat.
Expecting a ugly surprise-
Which lights up in their eyes.

Some are carrying bags they've made-
Others, mart sacks they've saved.
With electrical fervour in the air-
Nothing added crapper compare.

It's day tonight-
See every the pumpkins sunshiny bright!
Grab bowls of candy, here we come-
We're singing, "Trick-or-Treat," having whatever fun!
